Effective Date: 7th October, 2026

1. Introduction and Acceptance

1.1 These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website operated by Leadership and Value Culture Development Initiative (“LVCDI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including all content, information, features, services and functionality made available through the website (the “Website”).

1.2 LVCDI is a youth-development initiative focused on helping young people grow in life, leadership, character, skills and positive community participation through mentorship, education, practical experiences and youth-focused programmes.

1.3 By accessing or using the Website, submitting an enquiry, registering interest in a programme, volunteering, making or attempting to donate, subscribing to any mailing list or newsletter, submitting an application, or otherwise interacting with the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, safeguarding requirements and any other policies or notices incorporated into these Terms by reference.

1.4 If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue your use of the Website.

1.5 These Terms govern your use of the Website and your online interactions with LVCDI. Participation in any particular programme, camp, mentorship activity, volunteer opportunity or other initiative may also be subject to additional programme-specific terms, consent forms, safeguarding requirements or other rules.

1.6 No information contained on the Website constitutes a guarantee of admission to, selection for, participation in or successful completion of any LVCDI programme, opportunity, campaign or initiative.

1.7 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court or other competent authority, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

2. Use of the Website

2.1 The Website provides information about LVCDI, its purpose, youth-development activities, programmes, mentorship initiatives, educational and career-development activities, practical skills development, talent and creative development, community activities, campaigns, events and opportunities.

2.2 The Website may also enable users to submit enquiries, register interest in programmes or activities, volunteer, make donations, access publications or resources, communicate with LVCDI and otherwise engage with its initiatives.

2.3 You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of LVCDI or any third party, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the Website by any other person.

2.4 You must ensure that any information you provide through the Website is accurate, complete and not misleading.

2.5 Information published on the Website is provided for general informational purposes and should not be treated as a substitute for professional advice, where professional advice is required.

2.6 Access to or use of the Website does not, by itself, establish an employment, volunteer, mentor, participant, donor, beneficiary, partnership, agency or other formal relationship between you and LVCDI. Any such relationship will arise only where LVCDI expressly accepts or confirms it in accordance with its applicable procedures.

3. Programme Information, Mentorship and Youth Activities

3.1 LVCDI’s programmes may include leadership and personal development, mentorship, education and career development, practical skills development, talent and creative development, community and social development, camps, workshops, outreach activities and other youth-focused experiences.

3.2 Programme descriptions, dates, venues, eligibility criteria, activities, speakers, mentors, facilitators, schedules and other details may change from time to time. LVCDI may amend, postpone, suspend or cancel a programme or activity where reasonably necessary.

3.3 Participation in an LVCDI programme does not guarantee any particular educational, career, personal, financial, health, leadership or other outcome.

3.4 Mentorship, educational and personal-development content is intended to support participants and does not constitute medical, psychological, legal, financial, educational-admissions or other regulated professional advice unless expressly provided by an appropriately qualified professional acting in that capacity.

3.5 Where a programme involves minors or other persons requiring parental or guardian involvement, LVCDI may require appropriate parental/guardian consent, emergency information, medical information, participation waivers, media consent or other documentation before participation.

3.6 Participants, parents, guardians, volunteers, mentors and other persons involved in LVCDI activities must comply with applicable programme rules, safeguarding requirements, reasonable instructions of programme personnel and applicable laws.

3.7 LVCDI may refuse, suspend or terminate participation where necessary to protect the safety, dignity or wellbeing of participants or others, or where a person materially breaches applicable rules or requirements.

4. Enquiries, Applications, Registrations and Donations

4.1 Where you submit an enquiry, register for an activity, apply for an opportunity, volunteer, request information, submit an expression of interest or otherwise contact LVCDI through the Website, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

4.2 Submission of an enquiry, registration or application does not constitute acceptance into any programme, appointment as a volunteer or mentor, employment, partnership or other engagement with LVCDI.

4.3 LVCDI may undertake eligibility, identity, safeguarding, suitability, verification and other checks as it considers appropriate or as required by applicable law or the nature of the activity.

4.4 LVCDI reserves the right to decline or discontinue consideration of an enquiry, application, registration, volunteer opportunity or other proposed engagement where, among other things:

(a) the applicant does not satisfy applicable eligibility requirements;

(b) safeguarding, safety or wellbeing concerns arise;

(c) the proposed engagement is inconsistent with applicable law or LVCDI’s policies;

(d) the information supplied is false, misleading or incomplete; or

(e) LVCDI otherwise considers that it should not accept the engagement.

4.5 LVCDI’s acknowledgement of receipt of an enquiry, application, registration or donation does not by itself constitute acceptance of any application, programme place or other engagement.

4.6 Where the Website permits donations, donors are responsible for ensuring that donation information is accurate and that they are authorised to use the relevant payment method. Donations may be processed through third-party payment providers and may be subject to those providers’ terms and privacy notices.

4.7 Unless otherwise expressly stated in writing, a donation is a voluntary contribution towards LVCDI’s stated activities or campaigns and does not create an entitlement to a particular programme outcome, service or benefit.

5. Communications

5.1 By contacting LVCDI through the Website, you consent to receive communications reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, registration, application, donation or other interaction.

5.2 Where you subscribe to an LVCDI newsletter, mailing list or other non-essential communication, you consent to receive periodic communications concerning programmes, youth-development initiatives, campaigns, events, publications, opportunities, impact updates and other information that may be relevant to you.

5.3 You may unsubscribe from marketing or non-essential communications at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in the relevant communication or by contacting LVCDI through the contact details provided on the Website.

5.4 Unsubscribing from marketing communications does not affect transactional, administrative, safeguarding, programme-related or other communications reasonably necessary to manage an existing relationship or respond to a request.

5.5 Electronic communications may be subject to risks including interception, delay, alteration, loss or unauthorised access. While LVCDI takes reasonable measures to protect its communications, it does not guarantee that electronic communications will be completely secure.

6. Confidentiality and Information Submitted Through the Website

6.1 You should not submit highly confidential, sensitive or third-party information through the Website unless it is reasonably necessary for the relevant enquiry, application, programme, safeguarding matter or other interaction, or LVCDI specifically requests or authorises it.

6.2 Information submitted through the Website may be subject to applicable data protection and privacy requirements, as described in LVCDI’s Privacy Policy.

6.3 Submission of confidential or sensitive information through the Website does not, by itself, create a contractual, fiduciary or other confidential relationship beyond obligations imposed by applicable law or expressly agreed by LVCDI.

6.4 You remain responsible for ensuring that information submitted by you does not unlawfully disclose the confidential information, personal data, intellectual property or other protected information of another person.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Unless otherwise stated, all content on the Website, including text, articles, publications, graphics, photographs, logos, trademarks, branding, designs, videos, audio, documents, reports, programme materials and other materials, is owned by or licensed to LVCDI and/or its licensors.

7.2 You may access, view, download and share Website content for personal, non-commercial, educational or professional reference purposes, provided that:

(a) the content is not modified;

(b) all copyright, trademark and attribution notices are retained; and

(c) appropriate attribution to LVCDI is maintained.

7.3 Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law, you may not reproduce, republish, distribute, transmit, modify, commercially exploit, create derivative works from, or otherwise use Website content without LVCDI’s prior written consent.

7.4 Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence or right to use the LVCDI name, logo, trademarks, branding or other intellectual property except as expressly permitted.

8.1 The Website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, payment providers, social media platforms, organisations, schools, service providers or other resources.

8.2 Such links are provided for convenience or informational purposes only and do not necessarily constitute an endorsement, recommendation or representation by LVCDI.

8.3 LVCDI is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, security, privacy practices or terms of any third-party website, platform or service.

8.4 Your use of any third-party website, payment service or other service is subject to that third party’s own terms, conditions and privacy policies.

8.5 Where the Website embeds third-party content or services, your interaction with that content or service may be governed by the third party’s own terms and privacy practices.
